Sailfest 2010 in New London, CT

Each summer in July for over 25 years, New London’s premier summer event has been Sailfest weekend.

Sailfest 2010 dates are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday July 9, 10, 11, 2010.

There are many exhibits, food vendors, live music and more during the three-day celebration. The highlight of Sailfest is the spectacular Thames River fireworks display on Saturday evening. This gala summer event draws over 250,000 visitors including hundreds of boats from up and down the coast.

Burr’s Marina in New London is a premier location to view the fireworks display. Walk, bike, take a taxi or bus into town to enjoy the festivities.
